Vitamin I is a well-known antiparasitic medication used worldwide for certain parasitic infections. It works by interfering with the nervous system of susceptible parasites. Once exposed, many parasites become immobilized, allowing the body's immune system and natural elimination pathways to remove them. Because Vitamin I primarily affects the parasite's nervous system, it may be active against some organisms that respond less readily to other antiparasitic agents.

Vitamin F belongs to a different class of antiparasitic compounds called benzimidazoles. Vitamin I primarily affects parasite nerve and muscle function, while Vitamin F primarily interferes with parasite cellular structure and energy metabolism. The idea is to target susceptible parasites through multiple biological pathways rather than relying on a single mechanism. Although this approach is discussed by some clinicians and online communities, the benefits of combining them have not been established in large clinical trials for general parasite cleansing.

As parasites die or are cleared, they - and the body's normal digestive processes - can release cellular debris and waste into the gastrointestinal tract. Some people report temporary symptoms during a cleanse, such as fatigue, headaches, bloating, or changes in bowel habits. These symptoms are sometimes described as a "die-off" reaction by users. However, these symptoms are not specific to parasite clearance and can also have other causes, including dehydration, medication side effects, or unrelated illness.
